In social studies , we are learning about Black History Month. For black history month, we made posters to show very important people that helped earn equal rights. Me and my group decided to pick Jesse Jackson. We picked Jesse Jackson because we really didn’t know much about him, so we thought it would be more interesting. We had to do posters and Present them.I was a doing Walter Payton, And I did Maya Angelou.Walter Payton was famous for the most rushing yards in football and there was a reward named after him.Maya Angelou was famous for her poems. Walter Payton's nickname was sweetness.Maya Angelou's poems were so good the president gave her a medal. Walter Payton's nickname with sweetness because he was really nice to people.She was the creator of Why the Caged Bird Sings.
